You can already feel the power of the water at the bottom. The panoramic path now becomes a bit steeper and leads to the top of the waterfall. Steep mountain tours aside, there are also some lovely hiking trails through Mittersill. One that will particularly wow nature enthusiasts is the route alongside the Amerbach stream. Divine nature lines the route. Take a refreshing dip in the cold, clear water of the Elisabethsee, then continue to the Heidnische Kirche. This protected natural monument rises out of a rockslide debris field. It is said that everyone who manages to squeeze through the extremely narrow crack will be rid of all evil and diseases.
