Join one of our guides at the Hintersee for a few hours of fishing and chatting every Monday afternoon (early May to early October). He will gladly answer specialist fishing questions or show you a few tricks.
Mountain stream fishing
Fly fishing in a mountain stream can be quite tricky for many due to the strong current. In order to make it as easy as possible for you to grasp this wonderful kind of fishing, one of our guides demonstrates the necessary techniques every Tuesday afternoon (early May to early October).
As the main river in our fishing waters, the Salzach is home to the biggest graylings and trout. It is also the toughest Bräurup water to fish. One of our guides introduces you to the necessary techniques every Wednesday afternoon (late April to early November).

It has been possible to fish the Tyrolean side of this 200-hectare reservoir WITHOUT a surcharge for many years using the Bräurup fishing card; great waters to fish trout with a spin-fishing rod, peg rod or basic rod. You can rent a boat for a fee (special price for hotel guests) at the kiosk by the dam for hauling lake trout or Hegene fishing of whitefish.
We’ve had a NEW regulation with our partner from Lake Zell for many years. All hotel guests can purchase a day pass for Lake Zell for € 23 at our fishing shop during their stay. This is certainly an ideal service if you’re looking for some variety as a regular. Fish whitefish, arctic chars, pikes/zanders (also with a fly fishing rod) or lake trout at Lake Zell.
You don’t need to pay for the fishing pass for the Bräurup waters on these days.
A boat for the Gerlos Stausee or Lake Zell or a belly boat costs € 15 each per day.
