Yes. Hotel Restaurant Bräurup is located right in the centre of Mittersill. Many shops, cafés, sights, as well as numerous hiking and cycling trails are right on the doorstep and easily reachable on foot. Our second hotel, Hotel Restaurant Heitzmann, is located right on Mittersill’s main square and is only 270–300 steps from Hotel Restaurant Bräurup. You are welcome to have the consumption at Hotel Restaurant Heitzmann charged to your Bräurup room.

How long has the Hotel Restaurant Brewery Bräurup been in existence?

Hotel Restaurant Brewery Bräurup has actually existed since 1681 under the name “Schwertlehen” or “Schwertl-Gut Bräuanwesen” at the time. In 1823, our great-great-great-grandfather Rupert Schaiger bought the property, and since then it has been run as a family business under the name Bräurup. Today, we combine traditional hospitality with modern comfort. The hotel has 54 rooms with a wellness area, fitness room and conference facilities. In the restaurant, consisting of 6 original Pinzgauer parlours and vaulted rooms, we offer space for 180 people. In the beer garden or on the terrace there are 100 seats.

Zu Ihrer und unserer Sicherstellung der Buchung bitten wir sie um eine Anzahlung in Höhe von € 150,00 pro Zimmer. Your booking is only binding once the deposit has been paid.

At Hotel Restaurant Bräurup, in addition to cash and bank transfer, we also accept the most common credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as debit cards and ATM cards. New: you can also pay with Bitcoin. Please let us know in good time, as crypto payments can only be handled by the boss.

Cancellation conditions:

In case of early departure or late arrival, we are obliged to charge 90% of the room rate. Otherwise, the provisions of the Austrian hotel regulations apply, except for special agreements. On the day of arrival, your room will be available from 2 PM. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the room by 10 AM. After our reservation confirmation, we request a deposit of € 150 per room, which we will confirm promptly. Upon receipt of the deposit, the reservation is considered binding. If the stay is cancelled within 30 days before the start of the trip, the deposit is forfeited as a cancellation fee.

Cancellation fees:

up to 1 month before the day of arrival 40% of the total arrangement price;
up to 1 week before the day of arrival 70% of the total arrangement price;
in the last week before the day of arrival 90% of the total arrangement price

Yes, dogs are very welcome at Hotel Restaurant Bräurup. In the 3 parlours for à la carte and on the terrace, your four-legged friends can stay right with you at the table. Dogs are not allowed in the breakfast and half-board area. Dogs in the rooms are subject to a fee. Please let us know when booking your holiday so that we can reserve a dog-friendly room.

But please note: all parking spaces in the centre of Mittersill, including our in-house car park, are managed as a public, free short-stay parking zone. The maximum parking time is 90 minutes.
