Tradition & Future since 1823
200 Years of Bräurup
Some houses are simply buildings. And some houses tell stories.

The Bräurup is more than a hotel.
The Bräurup has been part of Mittersill for over 200 years. Generations of guests have vacationed, celebrated, laughed, eaten, drunk, made friends, and gathered memories here. Many arrived as guests and left as friends. Quite a few are already returning to us in the third generation.
For our family, the Bräurup is far more than a hotel. It is our home. It is the place where we grew up, where our parents and grandparents worked, and where new stories are created every day.
Hosts for Generations
Tradition that Lives On
When we walk through the old dining parlors, we think of the people who have shaped this house: the innkeepers before us, guests from all over the world, fishermen in the early morning, hikers after a day on the mountain, golfers, motorcyclists, travel groups, and families who return year after year.

Milestones from 200 years of Bräurup
We do not run a hotel because it is our profession.
We run this house because we love it.
Because we value the encounters with people.
Because we are proud of our history.
And because we want every guest to feel welcome here – today just as they did 200 years ago.

Our Story Continues
Much has changed since 1823. An inn became a hotel. Horse-drawn carriages became cars. Summer holidaymakers became guests from all over the world.
However, the most important thing has remained: the joy of being a host.
Every generation has shaped and developed the Bräurup. Every generation has created something new without forgetting where their roots lie.
With respect for history. With passion for our region. And with the conviction that genuine hospitality never goes out of style. Because we value the encounters with people.
Because we are proud of our history.
And because we want every guest to feel welcome here – today just as they did 200 years ago.
