Along the Salzach
Between Hollersbach and Uttendorf Bridges (fly only)
More experienced fishermen will find what they are looking for here: the banks of the river with medium to strong currents are steep, and the inspection is difficult. As a quiet yet spectacular natural setting, the fly-fishing site is a real experience.
Medium river, 15 – 20 m wide with a medium to strong current, you fish in the bank area or at the confluence of the small meadow streams and larger streams, such as the Felberbach.
From Wald to Bramberg
Confluence “Obere Salzach” with “Krimmler Ache”. Pure fly-fishing water with catch and release. The main river of the Pinzgau has a width of 10-20m and a medium current. The banks are rather steep and difficult to walk on. However, the fish are right at the bank.
From Bramberg to Hollersbach (Fly only)
The main river of the Pinzgau is10-20m wide and has a medium current. The banks are rather steep and difficult to walk on. However, the fish are right at the bank.
From Uttendorf to Niedernsill
The river is 20 – 25m wide with a medium to strong current, and a very steep bank which is difficult to walk on. Fishing is done on the bank area or at the confluences of the small meadow streams.
