GUIDED HIKING TOURS IN MITTERSILL FOR BRÄURUP GUESTS

Ranger and mountain guide tours included

Together with real hiking specialists, you can go on wonderful hiking tours in Mittersill and the surrounding area. As a guest in a hiking establishment, you can explore the most attractive spots in the vast national park region together with experienced guides. Rangers and mountain guides will introduce you to the vast hiking area around our Hotel Bräurup, and you can be there live!


The hiking program

Your hiking guide in Mittersill is available four times a week in the high season and three times a week in the low season. Mountain guides and national park rangers will introduce you to the most beautiful spots in the wide region, accompanied by fascinating natural stories and insights into bygone days. You can find out the current guide program directly at reception. This is what the 2024 hiking program looks like:


 
Pre-season: from May 01 to June 30, 2024

3 guided hikes per week
Tuesday – Herbal hike Hollersbach
Wednesday – Panorama tour
Friday – Via the Lachwald to the Sahnealm


 
High season: from July 01 – August 31, 2024

4 guided hikes per week
Tuesday – Hike to the Panoramaalm with ascent and descent on the Panorama cable car and guided tour of the Hollersbach herb garden
Wednesday – Herb hike Waldkapellen circular trail (in July & August)
Thursday – Life on the mountain stream hike along the educational stream trail to Senningeralm
Friday – Hike to Mittersiller Platte and Mittersill town walk

 

Off-season: from September 01 to October 27, 2024

3 guided hikes per week
Tuesday – Guided tour through the Hollersbach herb garden Wednesday – Via the Schösswendklamm to Hintersee
Friday – Along the unknown Amerbach and Mittersill town tour

All guiding information at a glance

We have put together for you what you should know about the guided hikes in Mittersill and the surrounding area:

  • Sign up: Reserve the day before until 5 p.m. at the reception or in the tourist office, outside of the opening times directly with the hiking taxi – the reception team will be happy to help!
  • You will receive a hiking taxi ticket, please give this to the driver.
  • Duration: Half-day hikes 3-4 hours, full-day hikes 6-8 hours
  • Costs: The hikes themselves are free of charge, the maximum costs incurred for additional transport by private taxi.
  • Snack package: A packed lunch is recommended, especially for longer hiking tours in Mittersill, which you can order in advance at reception.
  • Equipment: Walking sticks, drinking bottles, rain capes and rucksacks can be borrowed from reception.
