Mark November 21, 2025 in red in your calendar, because on this Friday the National Park Advent in Mittersill opens its doors. Every Friday (from 4 pm), Saturday and Sunday (from 2 pm) until the weekend before Christmas, the town square is transformed into a festive landscape with mulled wine, punch, chestnuts, handmade decorations and Christmas decorations. One of the highlights is the “Living Craft Workshop” in the town hall, where artists and craftspeople invite you to watch and join in. Children’s eyes light up when they do handicrafts, bake cookies or take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage. Of course, Santa Claus comes to visit and hands out small gifts. And all this just a five-minute walk from Bräurup!
