Harvest Festival in Mittersill-Hollersbach-Stuhlfelden

Mittersill Strudel Festival

The best doesn’t necessarily have to come last. On the contrary, the Harvest Festival in Mittersill starts with an absolute highlight! The Mittersill Strudel Festival will take place on September 1st. As the name suggests, it will be a particularly delicious event. From 11 a.m., the Hintergasse and Lebzettergasse will be transformed into culinary delight trails, where more than 20 different strudel variations will be available for tasting. From sweet classics with apple and curd cheese to traditional home cooking and quirky creations, there is something for everyone. Musical accompaniment and a fun children’s program with a bouncy castle complete the event.

Hollersbach Farmers’ Market

The farmers market is a must during the Harvest Festival in Hollersbach and is already in its 37th edition this year. On October 6th, from 11 a.m., folk culture and customs will be celebrated with a highly exciting and extremelyvaried supporting program, which is currently still being finalized. And as is customary for the farmers market, there will be all sorts of delicacies, selected specialties, and the finest handicrafts from the region’s farms to buy.

Free admission to the local history museums

In addition to these and many other events in the Salzburger Land, the Hohe Tauern National Park region offers its visitors a very special treat. The local history museums in the towns of Taxenbach, Kaprun, Uttendorf and – of course – Mittersill open their doors free of charge. It has never been so easy and relaxing to discover and experience the fascinating rural culture of the region.
